Spotify’s wrapped campaign has had its yearly viral social media moment, we’ve had a wee December arctic blast and the Christmas tunes are on. It can only mean one thing. Time for a look back at our highlights from the year before we disappear for the holidays.
Before we get into it, we want to say a huge thank you to each one of you who continues to work with our team. We love meeting you all and hearing your stories, and we feel very lucky to be able to do that day in day out (nearly 21 years since Concept started out!).
Hopefully you’ll enjoy this behind-the-scenes moment with us, as we reflect on a busy 12 months.
Settling into our new office
We started the year in our new office at Cobalt Business Park which has been embraced by the full team. We work with so many agencies and tech companies that have implemented remote working this year, but we’ve decided that having an office works for us. We have a 3 days in the office and 2 days at home in our working week. Home working is great but it’s also helpful to be onsite to get to know our colleagues, learn from and support each other. Plus, it’s always a bonus when you have your clients work on site for a day or two, like Sophie Parsons, People Attraction Partner at Leighton has on occasion this year.
We welcomed several new starters to the Concept team this year. The growth of the team has helped us reach new clients, which has been exciting. Our team growing has also given us more time to support existing clients, look at our goals, business development and overall business direction.
Successful job placements
We have placed stacks of candidates in the creative and digital sector this year which we are incredibly proud of. Finding someone their dream job never stops feeling so rewarding. We know how important it is to have a job that makes you happy, matches your skill set and supports your own personal and professional development. Having feedback from candidates saying that they’ve made an excellent decision, that they love their new workplace, means the world to us. Which leads us on to our next achievement.
We celebrated 20 years of Concept
You read that right. 20 years of Concept Personnel. Concept was launched in 2002 as an answer to the need for knowledgeable, specialised recruitment within the industry we are so passionate about. Our creative and digital industry expertise has continued to make us the leading creative and digital marketing recruitment agency as we truly understand the roles we’re filling. We’ve filled countless design, communication, marketing, digital and technical roles and long may this continue. We’re so excited about the changing landscape of this industry and we love watching and learning from it all.
We celebrated 10 years of Steph
Our Senior Recruitment Consultant, Steph, celebrated her 10th work anniversary with us. Many of you will be familiar with Steph, she spends her days speaking to our brilliant clients and candidates to find the best matches and she’s been with us through thick and thin. She’s a constant source of positive energy, lots of laughs, patience and support.
We’re looking forward to 2023 and continuing to support our fantastic clients and candidates. Thank you for all the ongoing support.
